Grant Thornton Invitational Betting Picks – Golf Betting Predictions
Although the LPGA and PGA seasons are over, there is still a lot of golf action that fans can wager on. This weekend, male and female golfers will team up in mixed pairs during the Grant Thornton Invitation. Here are our Grant Thornton Invitational betting picks and predictions.

According to pay per head experts, the event will take place over three days (December 13–15), including a Scramble on Friday, Foursomes (Alternate Shot) on Saturday, and a Modified Four-Ball format on Sunday.

Golf Prediction and Analysis for December 13-15, 2024
The Gold and The Black, two 18-hole courses at Tiburon Golf Club, were built by Greg Norman, who had previously hosted this competition when it was known as the all-men’s Shark Shootout.
The Gold in Naples, Florida, was opened in 1998. The par-72 layout has allegedly changed length over that time, with the PGA Tour stars teeing off at 7,382 yards and the LPGA Tour players’ course at 6,595 yards. This is because this is a mixed tournament.
In the Grant Thornton Invitational, a pairs competition that brings together some of the top players from the PGA and LPGA Tours, the Australian pairing of Jason Day and Lydia Ko aims for successive victories. In 2024, Ko achieved a significant milestone by winning the Olympic gold medal. She has an outstanding record as a golfer and would love to add another Grant Thornton Invitational trophy before she retires.
Day may not be playing the most outstanding golf of his career, but the Australian is always a formidable opponent when they play in a match. His success in this format bodes well, and the combination of their shared history and the ANZAC spirit may be decisive.
We anticipate that Tony and Nelly Korda will do better after competing against Day and Ko the previous year. In addition to being two of the most enjoyable competitors, Korda can rule the course when she’s giving it her all.
Grant Thornton Invitational Betting Picks
- Date: December 13-15, 2024
- Location: Tiburon Golf Club, Florida
Bet on Corey Conners/Brooke Henderson at +700
The all-Canadian team is back after losing by one stroke to Day and Ko in last year’s event. With Conners’s recent form—tied for seventh and sixth—and Henderson’s recent form—a tie for eighth at the CME Group Tour Championship—we do not doubt they will both give it their best this week.
